History
comes alive with beautiful images and carefully prepared captions
(articles) covering the vast sweep of history, from our ancient
ancestors to recent times. Thousands of
the images may be used in student reports, handouts and presentations created
using PowerPoint®.
Over 3,000 images, from 107 sources, include historical
events, important persons, color pictures of ruins, statues
and artifacts from ancient civilizations, hundreds of paintings
and other works of art, and 100 maps.

There are narrated Overviews
to introduce each of the fifteen major historical periods. European history
is explored in depth. The histories of Latin
America, Asia, and Africa are also included (though not as
thoroughly as in our World History products). The more
recent historical periods are packed with historical film
sequences and original source historical recordings. These
new- technology
tools for teaching, learning, and creating get students deeply involved
in the study of history. |
